Nelle prime ore di questa mattina la regione attiva AR1762, posta sul limbo ovest del sole, ha prodotto un solar flare di classe M5.9, mentre una nuovo spot, AR1765, sta crescendo rapidamente ma non sembra al momento avere caratteristiche per emettere brillamenti di grande portata.
The sun’s active region 1762, on the western limb, launched an M 5.9 solar flare earlier today. New sunspot AR1765 is growing rapidly but does not yet pose a threat for strong flares.
