Il 2012 è un anno astronomicamente importante, ricco di eventi. Uno di questi, probabilmente il più importante, riguarda il transito del Pianeta Venere sul nostro Sole. E’ davvero un grandioso evento, visto che la prossima volta si verificherà non prima del 2117. La NASA sta preparando le celebrazioni del caso da una location simbolo dell’antica sapienza nell’osservazione della volta celeste: Mauna Kea, nelle isole Hawai’i.
